Delay the date change

Hello.
Transport Tycoon (OpenTTD) is a nice game which is both exciting and I can relax with.
The problem is, that I relax too much and I can not come to build as much as I want before the game is finished.
I use the solution 2048x2048px.
What I want is to delay the date change. But not earnings. It would then also say larger annual income.
And I would also like to be free of temporal planes, magnetic rail and the like.
Can it be done and how can I possibly read more about it?

There are several patches which do this in the form of changing the daylength. A search on the OpenTTD Development forum with the keyword daylength will return most of them.

You may not necessarily get the same income. The day length patch also slows the amount of cargo waiting, less cargo, less cash.
