It´s annoying when the .PCX files made with CTRL+S/G are black.

And windows xp can´t open .PCX file anyway. Mine always were in 16 colours too.

Run in windowed mode, and use windows´ own screenshot taker (Print Scrn) and paste in paint or some other program.

1: Press Print Screen to take a screenshot onto Windows Clipboard.
2: Save the clipboard to a .CLP file.
3: Open the .CLP file with Paint Shop Pro 7.
4: Do whatever the hell I want with it.

Skip the clipboardpart. Just paste (CTRL-V) in PaintShopPro.

I never thought of that. Thanks! Thats saved me 1 minite per pic and I do this loads, thats like an hour saved.

i always:
1. take print screen with keyboard
2. paste it into paint
3. cut out what i want
4. save this to a jpeg file
5. when big , save the jpeg to a zip or ace file
6. attach the small jpeg or the small zip

not much trouble

whicked also means devilishly clever, i think
