CrossSide's screenies
CrossSide's screenies
As promised: Started a new game yesterday and would like to share the screenshots with you so you guys can comment and critic.
Little Wendingworth is served by my favourite train: the Doodlebug. A few years ago there was someone here on the forums who had a great guide to set u a realistic network and railroads. I remembered he started with a doodlebug in the mountains, does someone know of whoem I been talking about?

Re: CrossSide's screenies
Map:
I almost connected all cities on the map, will be adding more trains afterwards. Also, I'm thinking about new routes. Brindinghworth ( on the left corner of the map) and Pranton are connected by a single train, I would like to make Pranton a 'drive trough' station, so I have to rebuild that station.

Re: CrossSide's screenies
For some reason I can't convert my hoppers into Iron Ore hopper with the Can. Train Set. So this game will be without most industries

Maybe you're thinking of http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=30796? No Doodlebug though.CrossSide wrote:A few years ago there was someone here on the forums who had a great guide to set u a realistic network and railroads. Re: CrossSide's screenies
Althought it looked a bit the same and this tutorial is good as well, it is not that one. There was a single lined doodlebug for sure! I will try to find it.
Edit: found it: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=22747 Same user, different topic!

Raichase is basically the founding father of screenshotting here .CrossSide wrote:Althought it looked a bit the same and this tutorial is good as well, it is not that one. There was a single lined doodlebug for sure! I will try to find it.

Your screens are nice to , but I always think it looks weird without the gridlines.
Re: CrossSide's screenies

So I started a new game with the Dutch trainset ( ). Here is a teaser, more will follow soon.

Re: CrossSide's screenies
You would be better off with the Japan Set version of TBRS, then your bridges will match your roads.
My projects: New Town Names | Snow Aware Arctic Buildings | Custom Buildings | Funny Cars | Mini GRFs | Bits & Bobs
Contributions: BK Enhanced Tunnel Set | Fix TTD GRF Bugs | INFRA Foundations | OpenGFX | OpenGFX+ Airports
Other stuff: The GRFs That Time Forgot! | Buildings in Glasgow
What's that in my avatar? It's the Brighton & Rottingdean Seashore Electric Railway - bonkers Victorian engineering!

Re: CrossSide's screenies
Thank you, fixed it!
And another screenshot of my work in progress. Thanks too ISR and FIRS
Anyone knows what kind of foundations match with the ones from ISR?
