Re: Unable to Build Stations in Multiplayer
I know the answer to this problem as I have had it myself, (to Bennythen00b: he has done nothing wrong, it is an ingame bug) you've probably had this problem when you were on the second (or higher) internet server (explicitly not the first).
I've had it when I was playing on internet servers the other day:
The problem is as the following example (at least for me it was):
-You start OpenTTD.
-You go to multiplayer, and select a server (this server uses station newGRF's).
-You join that server.
-You build some railways (or at least the stations), for this you select any special station.
-The last station you build is such a special station.
-Then you exit the server (abandon game).
-You go to multiplayer again, and look for another server to play on.
-You find one and join it (this server DOESN'T use special station newGRF).
-There you build a railway, and when you try to build the (normal) station, you just can't as for you can drag but it just won't drop a station (I always build my stations with drag&drop so I don't know if this problem is present with the preset station length&width)
-To solve the problem: go back to the first server you joined (or another server which uses special station newGRF's), and select normal stations then you exit the server and go back to the server where you couldn't build stations before.
-Now you should be able again to build stations just as you used to.
I hope this helps you (and other people).
