Greeting sir wolf nice port you've done! But could I make a request to please reupload the older versions? this latest release seems to be not working on my n80 but the previous version is working flawlessly so I would like to redownload the old releases please. Thanks

I do not store previous versions. You can however do a google search for symbian openttd, some pirate sites and blogs have links to old versions lying on rapidshare or similar sites. For example http://blog.quintasan.pl/2008/06/04/ope ... symbianos/.

Oh ok thanks by the way sir wolf! But I was looking for the version which supports 2, 4, 6, 8 directional keys... Guess i'll have to stick with magic keys.

OpenTTD builds are resolution independant, so the current build should be working on E90.

Doesn't workwithme... it says: NetworkError (ptbr: Erro de Rede).
i have a E50, S60V3, with the libraries installed.

==UPDATE==
I switched the phone to the English language to see the proper message, and now it says: System Error, and i have no e:\openttd.txt, any ideas of what went wrong?

Sir Wulf need to add to game options e90 resolution coz it's only 320x240 and 240x320 there.

even so, it should work on the outside screen, which is 240x320, right?

Don´t start on my e65.. Can you please show me what is in your openttd dir and subdirs?
Of course i have installed all libraries and the openttd.sisx file..
I have:
E:\OPENTTD\
data\
generictrams_v0.4.grf
OPENTTDD.GRF
OPENTTDW.GRF
OPNTITLE.DAT
SAMPLE.CAT
*and all trg...grf files*
In the data subdirectory there should also be orig_win.obg, orig_dos_de.obg, orig_dos.ogb files and in e:\openttd there should be openttd.cfg. All these files are installed with the game though.

Can you show the contents of e:\openttd.txt?

Hi, mate.
I have to E65 and I do everything what you say. My dir is like this:

Code: Select all

E:\OPENTTD\
              openttd.cfg
          data\
              generictrams_v0.4.grf
              OPENTTDD.GRF
              OPENTTDW.GRF
              OPNTITLE.DAT
              orig_dos.obg
              orig_dos_de.obg
              orig_win.obg
              SAMPLE.CAT
              *and all trg...grf files*
          gm\
              *all GM_TT**.GM files*
          lang\
              *all *.lng files*
I think i have bad config file ( copy from C:\Users\antttek\Documents\OpenTTD ) or files ( copy from Program Files, i have Vista its a problem ? ). Mate, what i do wrong ? Game don't create me a log file, because when i open it i see "System Error". Help me please ;) Thanks mate ;)

It looks good. Even openttd.cfg should be working, as there are no paths in it.

Make sure you have installed all libraries from http://team.pld-linux.org/~wolf/symbian/support/.

I'm having the same problem, I've got a Nokia 5800 XM, I hear the sound, but the screen doesn't show the game, I can't do anything anymore once I started OpenTTD. The only thing I can do is restart my phone

Not working on E50 too, "System error", tried everything already..., is that because our phones are PRE-FP1?

Probably no mate, because on N73 (PRE too) its working. E65 is other than all Eseries phones. I don't know why. We can only please "extra port" for E65.
