Raise and lower land under things.

You should really be able to raise/lower land under things such as track, roads, buildings, etc. provided that what's built there would have been buildable had you demolished it beforehand.

e.g. if you have a track on a flat square, you should be able to lower some of the corners so that it's now on a slope, going along the slope.

Are there obstructions in OTTD code, or do people find it unrealistic? Seeing there's patches for many, many things, but none for autoslope, makes me wonder whether there's something wrong with the concept, maybe...

I think you can now raise and lower land under bridges etc. in the current nightlies? (Well, I thought I saw it in the list of changes but I could be wrong..)

Hardly unrealistic - we see land being lowered around things a lot. Although admittedly, we usually take off what's on the top first
