Greyscale Problem

Post by Makronaut »

Hi,

i hope someone can help me, or at least that i'm not the only one having this problem:

Some parts of the palette that are supposed to be grey are displayed as brown. This includes mostly parts of new grfs (particulary newstations) but also some parts of the basic game.

Computer: Powerbook G4 867 MHz, OSX 10.4.8 (but versions before were also affected)

The Problem occurs in the latest nightlies (this one: r7228) and in the 4.8. release as well. No difference if any(!) grfs are installed or not.
Even a complete new system setup (not because of this problem though :) ) didn't help...

The rest of the game runs great by the way :D

In ths screenshot:
notice the sluice, the crossing and the bottoms of the tank waggons.

In newstations the entire platforms and glass roofs are brown.

As far as i know i'm using the data files from the Windows version - not the DOS version. Does this help you?

What are their names?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
