GRF Wizard is a freeware program that serves as a GUI for the command-line tool GRFCodec, which is used to encode and decode GRF graphic files from the game Transport Tycoon Deluxe, TTDPatch and OpenTTD.
This tool will help you a lot in your GRF encoding and decoding work.

The option is there and will add the -m0 or -m1 switch to the grfcodec.exe parameters accordingly. The only detail is that never woked when I tested it, with both the program and manually in the command prompt.
Now I'm working in new graphics, and stay tuned because the work I'm about to release will be a revolution for the TTD graphics editing.
I'll tell you this for now: the EXE to change the graphics with the new designs is 2.379 KB in size. I have changed at least 3500 sprites.

it helps very much but you should add to it codec .. not all knows that to work it need codec to ... anyway if youcould put GRFCODEC.EXE (and other files) INTO program it would be the best .. cuz now Command window is still disappearing to fast and I cannot see anything...
anyway Program is GREAT .. KEEP WORKING ...
btw. I cannot encode graphic via GRFOCEDEC.EXE so this program can't do this to but decoding works for sure

Erm, do you mean 2.379MB? Oh wait, I just realised you meant 2,379KB, but you use dot instead of comma. Ignore this message.
Anyway, good work on GRF Wizard, and I look forward to seeing your graphics!

The version detection is based in the main GRf file.
If "trg1r.grf" is found in the GRFCODEC folder, the program assumes you have the windows version.
If instead, the file found is "trg1.grf", that should mean you have the DOS version.
I have both in the same folder, how may i specify which one i wish it to decode?

eehehe....not really... in Russia for example it is the opposite... 2,3 means 2 and 3 tenth and 2.300 means two thousand three hundred... also when quoting, it is not "I am here" , it is ,,I am here" (the first two commas should look to the right instead of left )
