[REL] RENFE models at Kaminari Trains

Post by kaminari »

Finally I've managed to publish a webpage to host many of my Locomotion trains. The page is Kaminari Trains and this is my current progress:

RENFE:
-250 Series
-269 Series
-269.604 "Gato Montés" Series
-289 "Tandem"

And some of the 269 below:

The "Gato Montés":

The car wagon soon avaiable:

Hope you enjoy them all!

Please forgive my ignorance, but what kind of trains are these? Are they cargo haulers or meant for passenger transport? What kind of power and basic specifications are we talking about?

Looks great, good job! :D

The page is still missing a lot of details, such as what kind of service they offered, power, year avaiable, etc... As soon as I can I'll update it.

They are all multi-pourpose high power trains (in lomo about 3.000 kW). Depending of the color scheme they pull cargo, passangers, long-distance passangers... for example here are some real pics taken from Railfaneurope. Click on them to enlarge it.

Thanks a lot Fjonis.

You can combine them with jjlor's Renfe models at trensim.com. The result is much more beautiful:

Hmmm...They seem to be a bit big.

Other than that, they look great!
