I have a question. Do not know if this is right topic, but this is the help centre.

In my profile, I checked HTML on, but when I look to left bottom when I post something, there is: HTML is off... Weird. Anyone a solution? And with BBCode I cannot link a site without a "www" before it. Why not?

But when I post

Code: Select all

[url]home.filternet.nl/~c.jol/locomotion[/url]
:

home.filternet.nl/~c.jol/locomotion

It does not link...

Because your link is not a valid adress. If your adress is, for example, http://www.mysite.nl/blaet, you can enter it as both:

Code: Select all

[url=www.mysite.nl/blaet]Blaet[/url]
giving: Blaet
or:

Code: Select all

[url]www.mysite.nl/blaet[/url]
making http://www.mysite.nl/blaet to get a link.

Code: Select all

[url]http://home.filternet.nl/~c.jol/locomotion[/url]
http://home.filternet.nl/~c.jol/locomotion

afraid it looks as if you need the http:// there. Not even <that> works without http://
