Oil industries placed anywhere on map

I finally got vc++ working, so here is the patch I was working on ;)

It's not a big change, it just adds a patch menu setting that allows oil industries (oil refineries and oil rigs) to be placed anywhere on the map in play mode. I was thinking about only allowing oil rigs to be placed anywhere on the map as a cheat though; Comments please :)

edit: the .diff shows english.txt as badly tabbed, VC however showed this as correct. Weird.

edit2: Not anywhere. You still need water for an oil rig :p

(And I just hope I used the correct coding style ;))

Personally I dont think it should be a cheat. With the large map sizes, theres plenty of scope for miltiple continents and oceans. Doesnt make much sense to have them restricted to the edges any more imo.

Otherwise looks good :)

when underwater height is introduced it would be nice to have oil rigs only positionable at a certain "Depth"

but till that day i don't see why we shouldn't do it anywhere on the map.

I think it would be much better and reasonable if maximum distance from edge to build oil rafinery/oil rig would depend on map size: for example:

64x64 - 13 tiles (13 would be minimum)
128x128 - 13 tiles (128/10~~13)
256x256 - 26 tiles
512x512 - 51 tiles
1024x1024 - 102 tiles
2048x2048 - 205 tiles

This would be much better for big maps, also "industries close to edge of the map" would still exist. Remember, there are many strategies according to these industries.

Another thing I was thinking about was allowing them only within x tiles from water; I'll look into that, and if it is possible, I might create it ;)

(Not sure if it is possible to see if a water bank is connected to the water at the outside of the map, but something like that would be nice ;))
