Yes you have heard correctly, but i can't host any game(damn router)
So can someone host a game so we can join it i really want to play trough internet :wink:

And btw all users must use dec 09 nightly!

And plz delete yopur cfg so all cfg's will be conpitable!

Had a good ~2 hour game (though I started poorly), and now I want MORE!!! The above times have been edited, and I am willing to serve games at those times.

Unfortunately, the 9/Dec/04 build has minor trouble with triple digit (~150) ping times (desync/connection loss about once an hour). I do not answer pings, but my gateway (12.202.208.1) does, so you can check your ping time there.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I am also on a router.. I was thinking of making this thread..

Can the mods make it sticky.. we all can post game listings here.. I think it is going to be a useful thread.

P.S. Dec 10 nightly is out and I think we all should update..

It is no longer needed to delete your openttd.cfg to have a compatible game. At the moment you join, you receive the openttd.cfg of the server :)

For the rest: can you not redirect ports through your router? If you route port 3979 on both TCP as UDP, to your local computer, you can host :)

Maybe we will create a page were you can find all the active servers on.. dunno, will look into that option :)

Real life interfered until 10:00 GMT, about when I was planning to call it a night.

I still intend to start games at these times, assuming anyone shows up. The server should be up 5-10 minutes beforehand. If it's not, and you're interested, IM me, I've probably just forgotten (or maybe forgotten to reconfigure port forwarding).
Today (11/Dec/04) at 19:00 GMT
Monday (13/Dec/04) at 02:00 GMT

These could probably run for twelve hours or more.

Most days, 05:00-10:00 GMT is available, though it is not particularly uncommon for real life to call for me until 06:00 GMT.

For games starting after Thursday (16/Dec/04) 02:00 GMT and ending before Saturday (18/Dec/04) 00:00 GMT, I can probably host any time, provided I get a chance to sleep somewhere in there.

Via traceroute it resolves as 12.202.208.249

I tried to, i clicked Add server, entered the IP but as soon as i clicked OK the game froze :/

My ip was said my one of the sites who says your ip but becouse of router they seem to "f*** the things up"TM
