Cool that you wan't to use my gold mod for it , I will download the scenario and take a look...as I am not that good in creating scenarios, I mostly use other people's great lookin scenarios and then I plant my mods in it...and other people's mods as wellOpan wrote:[update]
I plan on creating one with my Nickel Mod and EmerorSidious's Gold mod, for the nickel in Sudbury and gold mines in Timmins and Kirkland Lake.
More screens further in the thread.
Have fun and Enjoy!
~Dave

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
the NAM mod would be good for a Michigan, USA map, but I suppose Canada could work too.

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
I agree. Northern Ontario is very much a primary resource area. Mainly things such as, Nickel, Gold, Chromite, and Copper to name a few. There is some production but not as much compared to southern Ontario. The NAM would work great with the southern Great Lakes area. Windsor, Detroit, London. Perhaps if I create such a thing...
Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
Alright, the new version of the scenario is up. I call it the Realistic Industry version, including my own Nickel Mod, and EmperorDarthSidious's Valuables Mod. Thanks for creating that mod. It makes this all the better.
Download can be found in first post.
Enjoy!

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
Downloaded it, only looked at the scenario and looks good...You only forgot to select the valuebles vehicles needed to transport the Gold, Silver and Jewelry. I also noticed that there weren't any silvermines on the map, so I guess they don't excist in the real life region there ?
Going to play it somewhere next week, and then show some screens as well
btw...Thnxss for mentioning my name in the scenario and the topic , preciate that !
Regards,
Erik

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
Bah, I thought I was forgetting something Thanks for pointing that out it has been fixed.
To answer your question, yes its because there are currently no silver mines in Northern Ontario that I know of. Though it is possible that they would discover some in the recently discovered "Ring of Fire" where they are discovering new minerals all the time. And you are very welcome, you did a great job on the mod and you deserve credit where credit is due.
Enjoy!

Wooooo! I take credit in resurrecting this project only to the point that I assume my year later post triggered an email to Opan Looks great I will have to try it out soon.
Congrats for finishing this up. Looks like interest in this scenario is gaining.

LOL
I have to bow to you.
Here it goes...
I bow to you for this THREE DAY DIG!
OMGWTFBBQ CALL THE ADMINS WE HAVE A THREE DAY DIG GET HIM BOYS!
jk.
In all seriousness, it's hilarious that you missed the dates on all the posts after the hiatus.
Also, unless Opan set his account to send him an email when someone replies (which he probably doesn't) then it won't send him an email.

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
I hadn't really been active on the forums for quite some time before that and just got into other things and never really had the time nor the interest. It was really a coincidence that I went onto the forums that day and wanted to see if anything was up with my older posts. And I saw some activity on it and it seemed to spark my interest again. And spacek is right I don't have responses set to my e-mail. I get enough spam on it as it is lol.
So call it what you want, but in the end it has been finished and that's what I'm happy about.

No matter what, I want to give you an ovation for this great map, it has shown me that people can complete things.
Now I just need to finish rendering and slapping code onto my monorails...

Re: [REL] Northern Ontario & Quebec Canada
Hey Opan,
I don't know if you will include V2.0 of the Valuables mod in the scenario too, but I must inform you that people who have downloaded V2.0 will not be able to play this scenario as V1.0 is not to be played after V2.0 is installed. So when you want to release the new version of this scenario then do that with V2.0...

Erik
