The M1a is a 4-8-2, not a 2-8-4...Trainman888 wrote:I was wondering if someone would be intrested in making the PRR M1a.

I have a 4-8-2 but alas I can't share in (no permission) but you can make one... You can make it as I did... got the file from train-sim dot com. ran it thru msts2loco (engine only no tender) take the xml(using locotool) from any of Jose's larger locomotives and replace the 4-8-2 png's for the 4-8-4.... It won't be pretty but will give you one. (You can't share the finished loco tho') This method will be a teaching aid... while you have the xml available you can get a basic understanding of modding and perhaps mod and release in the future.
Get Permission from the owner of 4-8-2 then and only then you can share it. It's a copyright thing... but you can fold staple and /or whatever for your own personal use....

There is a Rio Grande 4-8-2 mountain in the US pack.
You could just edit the dat to have a PRR tender and rename it.
