I've decided to return to my fictional US game..(again). That's the one where I'm running a network in the USA but in a very British way! No-one seemed to take offence by the idea last time I posted shots from that game so I'll post some more!
This time, I've had a go with running timetables. Trying to run frequent services on a tight network is difficult and I've had to make sure that there is sufficient layovers at appropriate stations or passing loops on single track lines are well placed etc. At the same time, I want to time it so that there are so many services per hour, or one per hour etc. So I've been using multiples and divisions of 60 which thanks to the features in the patch pack I use, isn't too difficult.
I don't want massive 20 platform stations, I'd rather the challenge of timing 10 services to use a four platform terminus efficiently. To add to the challenge, I'm applying British train operating companies to the US so where they have to share stations will make it even more difficult!
So, the first company is Virgin Trains. I've given Virgin Trains the Great Lakes area to run services in. They use New York Grand Central as their main terminus and run Pendolinos to Toronto, Niagara Falls, Cleveland and Chicago and a Voyager service to Detroit, (no wires between Toledo and Detroit!) Voyagers also run between Cleveland Tower Centre and Chicago.
First up, I've made a really bad network map showing their routes:

Here are the two stations at Buffalo, a Voyager has just left Depew station bound for Detroit:

and finally, New York Grand Central, where a Pendolino awaits departure for Cleveland Tower Centre (they leave every 28 minutes past the hour):
