BTW, as already posted elsewhere on this forums, DB Set and NewStations will share a special custom "track type" extension for OTTD. Track types are limited to only 3-4 track types (+ electrified versions, all very well distinguishable) plus a Transrapid (maglev) track:

As this thread is named "MB's new graphics" the probability is high that he (Michael Blunck) has drawn them himselfKogut wrote:Where you found that buildings? There are great!

Re: Michael Blunck's new graphics [http://www.ttdpatch.de/]
Is it possible that we could get the GRF of the German houses?
It is probably a work in progress but they look really good...

"it'll get bundled with DBSet 0.9" [because saying "bundled with DNF" all the time is getting boring ]

Re: Michael Blunck's new graphics [http://www.ttdpatch.de/]
Well, no, sorry. Firstly, this set isn´t finished, and secondly, I want to port all my newgrfs into the newly developed m4nfo high-level language before releasing any new versions. Newgrfs already converted into m4nfo include DBXL, DBtracks and NewStations.Wotan wrote: Is it possible that we could get the GRF of the German houses?

Re: Michael Blunck's new graphics [http://www.ttdpatch.de/]
As already mentioned in some other threads, work on TTDPatch´s NewObjects feature has been continued recently, and does spark my interest in some applications.
Among some maritime features, one aspect of a forthcoming newobjects set will be a couple of different types of hydro-electric power plants, although there´s no use for electricity in the game until now.
On the left side, an ancient run-of-the-river power station can be seen, and on the right, there´s a more modern conventional power station, using penstocks for water delivery from a higher water reservoir. Something like this would be used as a pumped-storage power plant as well.
regards
Michael

Re: Michael Blunck's new graphics [http://www.ttdpatch.de/]
With regards to NewObjects, I´ve decided to cancel any plans for industry-related objects for the foreseeable future.
Instead, I´ll concentrate efforts on the maritime domain. A newgrf, scheduled for Christmas release, will contain a basic assortment of harbour structures like breakwaters and beacons, and will successively being completed by lighthouses and harbour-specific tiles fitting into NewStation´s freight stations.
A first demo:
