Irwe, I spy a perfect rendition of Wenner-Gren Center. Yum! Also, yes, Ullevi looks a bit tiny... Turning it into a 3x3 industry could perhaps do the trick..? What is safe to say is that the walls must reach at least twice that height, the actual Ullevi is just massive!!

if you plan to use "the industry trick", you might want to add a conditional skip sprite" if you use a industry ID that is used by for example firs or ECS...

SAC wrote:Yes, but it isn't drawn entirely from scratch is it? A quick comparison reveals that some parts have indeed been taken from the original IKEA graphics, which for your own personal use, is totally okey with me!
Yes some parts (A LOT) has been directly taken from your IKEA and I didn't thought it matter so much since I thought your INFRA set was kind of dead. But now when I see it isn't dead and you have returned to the world of TTD I can understand your consurn about me drawing sprites that are somewhat like yours. You probably heard this a hundred times but I'm sorry for your loss and about the so called stolen trees, I could replace all trees in my set with my own ones if you want?

Funny thing is that I started on this set after seeing the work you have created with for set

Or.. we could skip this huge hard-to-draw-right stadium and replace it with the Old (new) Ullevi located just next to the huge Ullevi.

The picture of it is under construction but I couldn't find a better picture of it

Irwe, if we're looking for a stadium on a grand scale, go for the Swedbank Area being built to replace Råsunda. Nya Gamla Ullevi is mediocre in comparison

The work on INFRA has never been dead! Put on hold due to real life issues at times though, but that's something completely different!

As for the trees, even though no license has been created for any of the stuff that has been released under my name, the same still applies; feel free to use them in your set, but add proper credits of course! :))

Now I'm going to take a closer look at your "Swedish Houses"...

Well I like the idea of making a smaller modern stadium rather then making a larger one, but if FIRS needs a large stadium I could try to help you with it

That one hasn't been built yet, or has it? Seems like there only is picture of it on models and such on. But it does look nice indeed. It's roof covered during winter? That could be cool in this set! Above snowline there is roof and below snowline there are no roof.

Yes your trees are already mentioned in the readme and credited to you ofcourse

May I suggest making your set under the GPL liscence. Then you'll be able to use everything from other sets under the same liscence. For example this set is under GPL and so is FIRS and we can trade ideas and sprites from each other without any difficulties :]
Also if you by any chance won't continue on your set, someone else could just continue on your set where you left of.

Exactly. The roof can be moved, so that during rainy days, the match is played with a roof

If I know SAC correctly, she'd not want someone else to touch INFRA before she considers it releasable

Chrill just said it all!

The thing is, I'm working on soo many projects when it comes to INFRA! I never planned for all of this to begin with, but as time went by my game went from TTDLX to something... well, completely different! Except from the lighthouse I believe everything else in my game is customized - graphics wise!

And as far as GPL licenses concerns, I have a habit of "picking up" other artists work and sort of "improve it" for my own personal game play experience, (no offense to anyone), but none of that are part of INFRA - unless I have requested permission of course! The problem is, seeing what I've been doing with my INFRA set during the years along with my own personal game play, I have hardly any idea who some of the original artists are! But when the time comes to release that sort of thing, I'll investigate to the best of my ability!

Still, I prefer to have INFRA released before I'm ready to let others use my graphics for other purposes than purely personal...

And with that said I'm already "working" on some of your buildings for personal use in my own game...

You can ask me for any of my sprites and I can send them to you and you can use them in your set how much you want, with proper credits ofcourse

Good luck with your INFRA set, I'm looking foreward to it :]

Indeed, I don't think it will fit this set. But if people do want those placas with my building they could always wait for the Red Star stations set to be released and use it with this set :]

I would guess, it has something to do with your bounding boxes, as you use the same size for everything or how did you crop the stadium? I investigated a bit deeper, it is the cropping of the sprites, this is the mask I used for OpenGFX stadium:

From: http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/ope ... tadium.xcf

as you see, you need a bit more for east and west sprite then just the ground sprite. I never coded a house or station or something with bounding boxes, but this seems to me the error. :-)

Also please link to your sources from the release thread, I didn't find those and decoded the grf.

I just croped it like as said, I really don't know anything about how things are done beyond drawing sprites :P
But yes it's something we have to take care of in a not so distant future.

Anyway lets show of some more buildings!
I've done another office building. This one is based on one of the "Hötorgsskaporna" located in Stockholm.
