Train Length Sorter

Post by petert »

Hi all,
We are currently playing PSG 167 at #openttdcoop, and it's been a crazy game. Mark developed a new tool which sorts trains depending on their length in tiles, which I thought was amazing (hence my comment in the screenshot), so I just wanted to share it with all of you. Check it out:

That's nothing new. I've never seen anyone do it with 5 different lengths, but the technique has been around for quite a while - both to sort a single length or several ranges.

Indeed, this technique has been around for quite a while, you as a wiki freak should've noticed it on the #openttdcoop wiki ;)

Wow, I've never noticed it, and a search for "TL Sorter" didn't come up with anything on the wiki.
