wow, i just rediscovered TT just now and its been...10 years? when i was about 7 when i played this game last. Nice going.
anyhoo,
it's more of convienince rather than a problem.
My laptop screen is broken and i just need someone to screenie the main gameplay with the toolbar at the top and just point out what the buttons are (all the pixels at the top of my screen are totally dead)
I just need a few pointers
Re: I just need a few pointers
I might have a better solution for you:
1. Start the Game
2. Press Game Options
3. Press the knob left of Fullscreen
4. Set the resolution lower than your native resolution.
5. Taadaa, OpenTTD in windowed mode.

But he's not playing OpenTTD (or at least he hasn't indicated that he is).FHS wrote:5. Taadaa, OpenTTD in windowed mode.

Surely you can change your display settings on your laptop to make the screen smaller and moved, down, (don't say it isn't possible, it is, I just can't remember how, presuming you're running windows)Kamikazi spoon wrote:wow, i just rediscovered TT just now and its been...10 years? when i was about 7 when i played this game last. I think he may be right, theres no option of a change of resolution. I cant really tell, i only got it working by a total fluke
its a much bigger crack than what you'd expect. Especially in the top left corner is hard to see.lawton27 wrote:Surely you can change your display settings on your laptop to make the screen smaller and moved, down, (don't say it isn't possible, it is, I just can't remember how, presuming you're running windows)Kamikazi spoon wrote:wow, i just rediscovered TT just now and its been...10 years? when i was about 7 when i played this game last. If you use OpenTTD, you will be able to play the game in a window, which means you will be able to see the whole screen by moving the window wherever you like
