I'm just going to through this out there, does Locomotion work on windows 7?
In short, Yes...
I have been running it on 7. So far it is like running it on vista with a few exceptions. the game itself runs fine, it has not created compatibility folder for me yet (when i had UAC on). I'll test out some of the lomo tools later and report any changes...
MY installers all worked with 1 exception. the passenger pack installer crashes 2 out of 3 times with no error given with uac on or off. This does not worry me at as it could be an OS bug and not bad coding on my part. Especially since it is the same code as all the rest of the installers with the name and path changed. Other then this bug, it seemed faster and more stable (then again this is on a brand new PC so everything will seem faster). the vista file copy hang (known bug) that i would sometimes see seems to be gone.
bit off topic
I uninsulated Win7 this morning to test my new super vista DVD i made. it has 2 versions of vista SP2 built and tweaked the way I like it with app's already installed. one version is based on ultimate for my desktops and one stripped way down to XP style based on home for my laptop. It even has LoMo preinstalled it in place of the other games in both flavors. lol
After a few more tweaks, I'll put 7 back on and test the tools like loco mod and wrapper (that vista hates when the UAC is on)

I heard that windows 7 is totally compatible with xp products. (It's almost like XP but better looking and with more features.) But i'm not totally sure, just try it and tell us!
It is more like vista Part 2. It is built on top of the vista kernel with the Aero Theme and everything. it is very similar yet different. they actually got rid of some useless bloat like the widgets and the meeting space crap. until it is released I am not to worried what it is like now, everything changes in the end.
