As far as I know there are no coded airplanes, so you can't use them ingame. Maybe someone will work on that in the future.

I've drawn the thirth stage of the headquarters for three different climates. I've used dhm_mac's model for the building. I hope you like it.
I like it. Is very good. The desert HQ is also very good.

About the planes, I think that some models should be rendered an shared, because They are almost completed.
Why abandon these nice planes in a forever WIP state?

I rendered the hq3 building without the truck. I think it looks better now.

Wacki did make more, see this page.

I'm curious how many sprites already has been converted and how many still has to be (re)done. :)

HI.
i made an attempt to make the 2x1 flats but i'm not sure about rendering for the roof.
must i add objects or change texture?
all suggestions will be welcome and then i'll finish with construction phase and model with snow.

I like the shape of it, but I find it way too dark. A dark shadow on a dark building makes it quite unenjoyable to look at.
Moreover I think you should add some kind of border to the roof (the red circle to the left), because the flat part of the roof ends too abruptly. Another detail, the door doesn't reach the floor, this looks pretty weird.

EDIT: after another look at it, I also don't like the colour of the round thing in the garden (bottom right).
Sorry for the lack of transparency, paint refused the od that.

it is better now. But there is still a problem with the contrast between the dark building and the light terrace... But maybe that's just me, if others like it then it's fine.

I like it, it looks very good and detailed. I think the contrast between the terrace and the rest of the building is too high. The bricks should be brighter and the terrace darker (as dark as the ground tiles around the building). Besides that it's perfect, very good work :)

I agree that it's still a bit dark. Not so much the roof contrast, I actually like that. But more the windows/shutters.

I do like the roof terrace and garden. Shouldn't you be careful with adding lamp posts though, considering there are special graphics adding those to the streets.

Lately I've seen people often adding antennas, satellite dishes, solar panels, etc. I think those utilities are really distracting.

Why don't all windows have shutters? On the 'bottom right' windows to the same rooms both have and don't have them. It's a bit illogical now.

And as last note; can't you change the color/detail of the windows? Both for the normal as the slanted rooftop windows. Especially the later ones are pretty dull and I'd think you should be able have the idea you look trough them.

Just trying to add constructive comments in here once in a while. I think you guys are doing really amazing things! I should try out the latest 32b-zoom graph pack sometime soon.

Hello, quite some time ago (around page 30-50 ?) I made a radio tower model for OTTD. I still have that model and it's about time I release it! ;) (for someone else to do the finishing touches)

It was made with one of the older rendering setups, so the materials might need to be changed. Otherwise it shouldn't require very much work to finish it. The only thing needed is to render it properly (and perhaps also apply appropriate materials due to a different rendering setup)

Here are object names in the .blend file out of which the model is made and the corresponding material I suggest to use (to get the result as seen on the attached render).

*tower base = concrete
*control box = pale army green
*middle antenna = dark grey / black
*red tower = red paint
*white tower = white paint
*orange antenna.001 + orange antenna = orange

It's a more modern radio tower, for earlier periods a more vintage design would probably be better.

Also, do I have to release it under a particular license? I have no problem with any of them, but I have no idea what OpenTTD is comfortable with :)

Don't problem, the sprites was good, and I have coded it. Also, I will update the TAR file if I fix the Hotel, because the first construction stage is wrong.
