Hi guys,

it seems as if the recent choice to remove the external svn squirrel link in favour of a modded "local" version has broken updating/checking out older svn revisions (that still had the external link, e.g. 15476). The svn command always finishes/fails with

Fetching external item into 'src/3rdparty/squirrel'
svn: URL 'svn://svn.openttd.org/3rdparty/squirrel' doesn't exist

I've tried various approaches to get it to work, to no avail :/

This is with console svn on Linux.

Go into the 3rdparty directory and do a svn co svn://svn.openttd.org/3rdparty/squirrel@<rev>.

Using WinXPlode and TortoiseSVN, I just deleted the whole /3rdparty directory and then updated the source. Now it works swell.

@Rubidium: Thanks, for my porposes I copied the trunk squirrel dir and it still compiled and ran (at least good enough for the quick test I intended to make)

@SirkoZ: That had worked for me for updating from the linked version to the current (trunk) one, but it didn't want to work the other way around.
