eh... you can't add this to the main openttd page... :?
I assume you mean www.openttd.org with this. That page is for official versions of OpenTTD. No custom builds are promoted on that page...

Looked at your list, and no, none of those is in trunk. The "found a town" one might be soon though, so I'd scrap it. Also, you have both "diagonal levelling and clearing" and the "drag and draw" patch in your list, which kinda conflicts with each other: both use CTRL+Click to do something. The first one to make the selection diagonal (instead of rectangular), the latter a kindof freeform selection. ("drawing"). I'd use one of them and scrap the other.

Why do you think so? Maybe you're confusing it with another patch..? Because if you look in the thread of that patch, (and scroll back a few pages to before the flaming had begun  ), you'll see that belugas had already shown interest in it (and revamped the patch himself). And if you look at the couple of last commits (r15505-15507), you'll also find some hints that some dev is obviously interested ;)

It could actually be useful for one of two things...

his thread is getting more than just annoying!
read the docs of tortoise, and you'll find out how to find the files

having a disability and wanting to code does not really leave much room for not wanting to read! esp. not if you say you want to get a book about c++! there are enough books online, but my guess is you never even read the documentation of the software you are trying to patch (nor used svn on the repository of the software you want to patch) nor read the documentation of the software you are using / wanting to use to patch OpenTTD with (i.e. tortoise, subversion)
you'd probably find it unfair if i said you were showing no initiative in solving the issues yourself, but basically, that is what it looks like! you dont google, you dont read documentation, you dont look through the version control system, you dont update patches yourself!
all you are doing is asking people to update their stuff so you can basically 'relax' - what will you do when you have your first conflict? what will you do when your patchpack needs syncing with trunk!
seriously! even if you manage to get that far that by asking others to update their patches you'd end up with the patchpack you dream of - this way of creating it shows that the patchpack would not live very long - as soon as there is an update in trunk... what you gonna do? post the patchpack in the forums and ask someone to sync it for you? or are you gonna go running about again, reviving 20 threads in 24h just to say their patch is good and that you like it in the hope that the original author will update it for you, again in the hope that this time it will not conflict with any of the other patches you want to include!

this is not the aim to sound negative or to 'hurt your fealings' .... 'dear'! this is simply a very realistic (sorry planetmaker :-P) view point!

Hey, I wrote it (the "original" rewrite at least) and I don't like it either.

The main issue is that it totally breaks network play.

Do you mean it's not network-compatible, or that it breaks multiplayer gameplay? If you mean the first, I think the most recent incarnations of the patch were network compatible. If you mean the latter, well, that's a no-issue if it's controlled by a switch in the advanced options.

Hey Alian Can you put in Infinstracture sharing and remove subsie and contract patch. It would be a smater move considering that IS is more Up to date the the other one.
Something goes here, hell if I know.
