Hello i have recently started a new map of the South West trains region. Not all of it but mainly London and Surrey here are some early screenshots. I will be converting it into a scenario.

Surely you have to have the scenario before you start the game?

Yes i will upload the original map soon and a saved game to play on. The map has no industries though. The two maps will require Ami Trains BR Set. http://www.amitrains.co.uk/trains.php The map is a very flat but it is my first one.

Here is the original map.

Your objective is to deliver 1,000,000 passengers.

The start date is 1980.

There are no competitors.

You are only allowed to use trains.

Hope you enjoy bearing in mind it is my first map/scenario.

Thanks
P.S Hope the attachement works

This map needs file called UTOWNNAM.dat - I'm guessing its a town names file, obviously, but does anyone know which one?

I did but I must have spazzed as I searched first for 'town names' then for the filename within that.

Anyway its useful info about the scenario to know it needs the file.

This is a neat little scenario actually - I know quite a few people that commute this way, so I can have fun screwing their journeys up.

Yep I changed the start of the scenario to 1920 so I can play with all the other SR stuff that's in the game. You have allowed industries to start off themselves, so the game throws out a few random industries, although this area is not really any industrial one anyway. I've completed the main line to Woking so far - I'll try and post some screens when I get time.

Loving the map considering I live in a main area of it. 8)
Heres a screenie of the edge of Twickenham all the way to Barnes and the line that splits off through chiswick. I Tried to base the train lines on the real life ones.

Sounds like it might be the SWT region, which I thought was in the BR pack.
