Is it the coal/clay (what ever is coming out of the quarry) colour thats wrong, or is it the white posts? Can't tell whats wrong there.

The gravel is fine although perhaps a bit blue but that's not the bug here
or is it the white posts?
Those white "posts" are the issue, they're due to the sprite being smaller than the code thinks it is.

Well this could have been fixed i am currntly testing some coal station tiles mart3p sent me. Do these white lines appear all the time or just when placed next to the Quarry?

Looks to me like the sprite offset's a little off... forgive the pun.
I've had that happen to me when I was experimenting with PBI, but I didn't have 'net access at the time so didn't report it.

It won't matter where it's placed I shouldn't think but only affect the gravel sprites.

Thanks for the bug reported, this one has not been reported previously. ;)

Yes, it is ok in the new version of the mineral platforms for v0.8.0. The gravel sprites concerned are no longer used as the mineral colours are now produced using re-colour sprites.

I also noticed that the gravel looks a bit blue. This has already been corrected for the new version.

Industrial Stations Renewal v0.8.0

Here is ISR v0.8.0. :P

Highlights of changes for 0.8.0 (for full changelog see readme file):
  • Industrial vehicle tiles featuring andythenorth's 'heavy' vehicles, including:
    • Crawler crane.
      Mining truck.
      Bulldozer.
      Front loader.
      Log loader.
      Log stacker.
      Forklift (crates).
      Large forklift (containers).
      Reach stacker.
      Container stacker.
  • Sprites for timber platforms and non-track tiles replaced.
  • Sprites for copper/steel non-track tiles replaced.
  • Copper is now re-coloured to steel instead of using separate sprites.
  • Some container colours changed to remove the excess of red on non-track tiles.
  • Minerals now use re-colour sprites for mineral colours.
  • Mineral silo layout updated.
  • Mineral unloader is now compatible with maglev/monorail.
  • Road crossing is now compatible with maglev/monorail.
  • Dutch translation added (thanks FooBar).
  • Fix: Orientation of facilities buildings was incorrect.
  • Fix: Gravel platform sprite offset error.
  • Fix: Empty wood platforms were not showing desert/snow.
Warning: station IDs have changed, which makes ISR v0.8.0 incompatible with savegames made with previous versions. To update old savegames follow the instructions in the first post. Do not complain if you ignore this warning and your game crashes.

It's not too bad though, as the IDs for 'Industrial: Stations' and 'Industrial: Fixtures' have not changed, so only track tiles from 'Industrial: Raw materials' onwards need converting. Non-track tiles can just be overbuilt with the correct tiles from v0.8.0.

OpenTTD players: ISR v0.8.0 requires OpenTTD 0.6.1 or later, or a nightly build from r12674 onwards.

Thanks to Beardie27 and Wallyweb for testing. And of course, thanks to andythenorth for his vehicles.

As Sanchimaru hasn't been seen recently, would a mod. please update the topic title and modify the link in the first post to point here? :)

My pleasure, mart3p. Looks like you guys excelled again, good move to add the heavy machines to the non-station tiles.

Thanks Hyronymus, that was quick work. :D

And I forgot to mention some good news for TTDPatch players: due to the sprite savings I have made, even with the new stuff, v0.8.0 uses less sprites than v0.7.1 (2,318 as opposed to 2,370). ;)

This station set is a game of one's own. In some days, we don't play TTD, we play ISR.

Took it for a test drive, kicked the tires a few times (hurt my toes as some of those tires are huge), and was incredibly impressed.

The slightest of disappointments crept in when I noticed that my extremely old suggestion did not make it into this version.

Great work by all concerned.

Not to worry mart3p. That middle line of my previous post was meant to be sarcastic although it may not have had that intended result. I am sure you will get around to doing what you can in your own good time.

Woot!

Respect guys, looks gorgeous. Btw, is it really necessary to break barckwards compatibility with every new version. It forces me to start a new game every time you release something :(

Just keep the previous until you finish the game. Then it's all fine.

The thing is you don't have to start a new game, you put the new GRF into an existing game but it just means replacing the tiles that have changed on the station back to what they were. I know it takes time but i makes ait al lok godd in the end.

I don't know if this is explained in the read me or somewhere else, but maybe its a good idea to put this somewhere for people.
