No wonder. You'd have to draw them by yourself.
Check Hereford/Foster bus here to see what's it about.

"Varivar": Your last building is also very nice. I 'd suggest some color variation (but not too much), e.g for the roof.

Hi everyone!
I'm new here, but i've read the whole thread (193 pages  ) and as I work in 3d visualization, I thought I could help out with some buildings.
First of all I'm really impressed by some pieces of art that you guys produced, they are truly amazing.
I'm not a big TTD player but occasionally I still play it, and in fact it was the first PC game that I played back in 199x.
So I decided to model a building that I thought hadn't been made yet.

This one.
I only spent about 20 minutes on my work in Max so far so it's still highly under construction and lacks detail badly. I also had problems with the shaders as I couldn't manage to do nice reflective windows because of the orthographic projection and the same applies to metal. So I just gave them some crap basic materials. I used the standard lighting setup for 3ds Max.
I know that the building doesn't have a door and lot of other details, but those are yet to come (don't mind Ottis either). Anyway, constructive critism is welcome.

That looks quite nice for only 20 minutes work! Those satellites on the roof looks nice too. I have some suggestions for you:
- replace the windows on the ground floor with entrances
- add a door to the roof
- add some beams against the wall, like this building.
- add you building on this page.
- replace the ground texture with the standard pavement texture

Wow, that looks very nice, especially the construction stage! A big thumbs up from me! I have one suggestion for you: make the windows darker, so that the interior can't be seen. Now it looks a bit empty inside.

Wow, impressed!

Is it me or are the doors a tad compared to the height of a floor/tree!

I might be wrong, but isn't usually the whole building completed before windows are added? In the construction phase you have the _windows already installed_ :P

I've made some small changes to the building, well I didn't put any office stuff inside but I increased the glass opacity. I think it's okay like this.
(There should be two construction phases right?)

That is really amazingly good! A superb first contribution. Have you looked at creating the company colour mask file for the building (the original sprites use company colours which are randomised for more variation).

Welcome aboard Rectangle. It's always nice to see guys with big talent for graphics around, we really need them.

Your flat is awesum, one remark though, I think in the construction phases, the floors are added, before the next storey is, so that does look a little funny, in my opinion, esp. in the second phase. Apart from that, well done!

It' s indeed very good. The original sprites of this building doesn't have company colors, but it think you can still add them. This building is very suitable for company colors.

Actually it aren't company colors, because city buildings aren't owned by a transport concern. The colors are there just to make some variation in the buildings.
