How to make server Welcome msg?

Sometimes I join a server,I saw some msg like "Welcome XXXX join this server".
How to config my server to show the welcome msg like that?

Use autopilot, you can find its thread by the forum search function or look at the #openttdcoop wiki (see signature).

Openttd has a feature built in for MOTD.

create a file named on_server_connect.scr
place it in the /scripts folder of your openttd server folder

put something like this in the on_server_connect.scr file:

say "welcome to my server"
say "have a great time and behave!"
