Random Screenshots
Here's a couple from my current game.
First, a slightly messy junction. It started off as just two lines crossing each other, and "evolved" into its current state as I kept needing it to do more. The line from the bottom right to top right is one of my main passenger lines; you can see a VT-08 about to start the climb up to the city of Pladingtown, a V200 following close behind it, and a BR01 coming back down the hill. A BR45 and BR144 are also passing through the junction, carrying iron ore and coal respectively.

This is the station located just west of the previous screenshot. I recently rebuilt it completely, because the original station was getting far too congested as more and more trains started using it. The heavy coal trains now have their own line, which you can see coming in from the top right - they're carrying coal from a group of three coal mines with a very high production. Other coal trains come in from the line at the middle right (shared with the iron ore trains) and the one at the top left. The power station's also being supplied with coal from the nearby coal mine by lorries, whose road has been left perching precariously on the edge of the hill since the expansion of the train station.

Just a little bit of track layout from my current arctic test game.

- 1946, and the passenger services in the twin city area have all been dieselised - two E6s haul heavyweight cars, while a newer E7 has stainless steel coaches. Steam still holds on to the majority of the freight services, but for how long?

Perhaps it's an ALCO?DropZone wrote:This was the result of one of my early attempts at fixing the enhancetunnels steam bug. Apparently the bit of code I changed wasn't quite the right one... or maybe this diesel just has a really smoky exhaust?

City of Calw. On screenshot you can see V 140 and VT-137 (my fave) both in old liveries. Train leaded by VT 140 is going from Waisenbürg while V 137 is loading passangers to Tegernau.
Two V 137 Units are bypassing Tegernau farm. Closer VT-137 is going from Calw to Tegernau, farther DMU is going tu Utzenfeld.

Another good shot!!
Although 2 things spoilt it just a tiny bit for me (Nothing to do with you though Mickeye!)... The TTRS buildings are just a tad too texture-less and they still stand out a little bit from the rest of the game textures. And, the road on the west side of the town (Where it is built on slopes, presumably) has a white line along the edge. Guess that's uncontrollable though.

The "white line" is the foundation.Ben_K wrote:Another good shot!!

Using paramaters in ttdpbase.grf (?) you can select the type of foundation you want. I use the tropical foundations for temperate road/rail, and the temperate foundation graphics in arctic.
