I must say, the quality of artwork and attention to detail is exceptional. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the IORE, that thing is one (or is it two) cool locomotive. Keep up the great work Anders.

Something like this, maybe? It feels a bit too bluish blue, but the other blue tint in the palette is to violet, I think. Water cycle blue seems right, but can't be used :-(

Look good but one thing I'd say is that you've made the fronts too slanted, granted the real one is slightly slanted but going by the picture not that much.

Hi Anders, great work so far!

I dont think the sprite is too blue for how the loco looked fresh out of the depot. However, its a grubby freight train. Try adding some dirt and mess along the sides... :)

Even though this color is more 'wrong', I feel it looks much better...
Thoughts?

Edit: A bit darker red and fixed the pantographs a bit.

I'm with you there Anders, looks much better but I think the red stripe needs toning down a little. You've got a great set going here, keep it up :)

Well, no. IMO, the IORE needs to be in a real blue tone. It´s very distinctive. In addition, the characteristic "Adtranz incline" at the front should be clearly visible (by highlighting it).

regards
Michael

I'm with Michael on this one. The blue is more authentic.

As it's raining today (surprise!) I did some train work despite having vacation. The beginnings of the Swedish X50/51/52/53/54. I haven't tried indicating the thin red line yet. This MU exists in LOTS of color combinations, so the work will never end...

Ironically I just saw that train the other day for the first time at Hässleholms Station (and I live next to it). Keep it up! :)

Anders, will you be having custom swedish whistles and a chuff sound for the steamers? And the Kokums tyfon for electrics and diesels?

AndersI, congrats very nice train graphics :)
However I'm curious about its length: depot views and N/S views is slightly larger than NW/NE/SW/SE views. Or it is just my imagination?

Is it all of the trains, or is it only some?

I hope they are correct - I've followed the 'SpriteSizes' template... (a train which is 32px in the side view should have a 16 px side in the diagonal views)

The yellow train from previous page seems to have better dimensions. But this is probably my imagination - I'm sure it will look just perfect in-game. Good work :))
