Convincingly I ask to not do(make) such huge illustrations!
I then receive the spiteful letters from those people, which because of it can not read this theme!
There are some ways for this purpose:
1 - to reduce the size of the image up to the size 640 * 480 points
2 - to transform the image to 8-bit of colour
If it cannot be made for any reasons - it is necessary the size of the image to make more than 800 * 600 points, automatic archive in this case turns out which does not prevent other people to read the basic theme!
Sergej.
1. I didn't know other people had problems. I do not have any. Thread works correctly on me.
2. Alltaken asked for screenshot, I didn't put it just for me to enjoy.
3. Tiles are 256, and Alltaken asked to see how they look on slopes. So I could not make a smaller screenshot.
4. Not good idea to reduce to 8bit. We want to test tiles in 32bpp. Using jpg or other losy format spoils the image.
I ask all to not worry!

I spoke about the sizes only of illustrations of copies of the screen - instead of about ready jobs of the artists!!!

The ready job of the artist can borrow(occupy) some Mb - and it normally!

I spoke only that the large copy of the screen is expedient is to done(made) by the size more than 800 * by(with) 600 points,
Then she will be curtailed(turned) in automatic archive will create of brakes at viewing this theme.

I am more than anything did not want to say.

It to concern only to the unique(sole) staff of the screen and only in this theme!!!

He means, don't post large screenshots. they don't need to be big to get the point across.

however depending on his translator, he could also be meaning to say that "All your bases are belong to russia" but who knows ;)

In Soviet Russia, automatic translator translates you! ;)

Alltaken wrote: I'll try and get some Gridlines ASAP.
I welcome you!

I personally do not like these Gridlines.
In civilized games these lines can be disconnected in options of adjustment,
I shall bring an example for adjustment of options of a general view of the version OpenTTD 32bpp v7002.

I welcome you, my friend!

In far 1997 in game NFS II SE on one of lines I have seen treasures of airaccident.
That picture very much has liked me also I began to collect the various images.
On today on my computer a collection from more than 10 000 images, majority of the authors of these jobs to me are unknown. We can not use this image, if the author is not known for us. Let's act(arrive) so -
I shall send a fragment of this image Alltaken, we shall ask it(him), that he has made on this example specially for us the following:

1 - the colour component should completely coincide with his(its) colour of snow!!!
2 - the image should be the size 256 * 127 points, 32-bit of colour, transparent substrate.

If he will make it specially for us - Fans(amateurs) OpenTTD 32bpp - then I can code his(its) job and lay out in general(common) access!!!

It'd be removed from here if it was posted, as it's nicked from Red Alert 2.

If you have the game, it's a little easter egg in the Allied Campaign mission with the three Nuclear missile silos. It comes with some GIs and an engineer or two.

Hello Sergey,

I am also playing with 32bit graphics and sprites. I pretty understand, how did you made airport, vehicles or building replacement.

But I realy do not understand how did you place sawmill or farm, as this takes more than simple sprite replacement. Can you explain this closer, as I would like to try it as well? Or at least place here INFO file from your sawmill?

Thank you..

If Alltaken he will count necessary - can remove this image.

Dave, may we come to the conclusion that you had an extra beer before quoting? It is obvious: Sergej doesn't want large screenshots and since in the shot there was not enough place for the town to be displayed, he squeezed the town inside the airport!

Erm. Lol?

Selective quoting is only funny when Raichase does it ;)

Refer to the REST of my post about what I was replying to in terms of the quote ;)
