New Depot
Mr. Darkmast49;
You may get it from the post of Mr. Ameecher, Page #71, who was so kind to
share and let it be available in my topic, I'm honored.

Much as I'd like to have made those stations, they weren't me. I'll accept the credits for the depots though!Jim Powers wrote:Mr. Darkmast49;

Freight Stations
Mr. Ameecher;
I'm sure sorry about the mixup. I know you are indeed the arthur of the new Depots,
I just thought that Mr. Darkmast49 was asking about, now, if I'd read more closely,
I'd realized he was asking about Stations, not Depots.
I believe the Freight stations are Mr. Pikkabird's, and I used a combination
of his (and maybe Mr. Blunck's,) features to put this Gravel & Coal Company together.
So, apologies all around for my misunderstanding. And thanks for clearifing this, Sir.

- This is a new Forestry company next to the Gravel/Coal Co. Featuring the forest planted on the side of the mountain. Great new feature!

You can definitely thank PikkaBird for the new forests that work on hills!

Mr. Miketrak;
I've just been with Mr. Krtaylor and have the last jpset grf. So, tonight I revamped
"The Tokyo Experience".
I've updated with that last grf file, which I didn't have before, and cleared off all the old roads and
buildings and 'remodeled' this again to meet the new features which I didn't have Sept. 2005.
You must turn on all your JPSet grf files first before you open "The Tokyo Experience".
This is important!
Try this new and improved version of "The Tokyo Experience"!
Yes, a big THANK YOU to Mr. PikkaBird. You are a genius, Sir! And I do also
thank Mr. Dave Worley for being so kind to bring this to my attention.
Mr. Geo.c Ghost, you are a cool Guy and a good friend.

Tokyo Experience
Dear Mr. Raichase;
How's my good Pal and Friend? When you have the time, would you add "The Tokyo Experience"
to my Scenario list on page #1? You know I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks Man.
Mr. Louie Armstrong, I sure hope your computer gets well again. I hate 'em when
they're not working, but, love 'em when they are. After I finally got my game back,
and I have renewed excitment just simply playing TTD! I love it.

Awesome Alps Super Pic
Mr. Darkmast49;
I'm glad we got the stations straightened out. BTW I'm posting a Super Pic of my
latest Saved Game from My "Awesome Alps" scenario, if it's OK. This has been a fantastic
game and about 6 weeks of playing it.
Here's my Super Screenie.

Thanks, my Friend!
Mr. Raichase;
Thank you, my Friend. I wish I knew how to add to my complete scenario list on Page #1. However,
with helpful men like yourself, Sir, one does not need to know everything connected to computer
science, to be able to enjoy TTD. You 'Pros' keep this game running just fine. Again Thanks.
Also, keep the good screenshots coming on your most excellent thread called
"Raichase's Official Screenshot Thread". Empressive work!

Re: Thanks, my Friend!
I wish I could take credit for it, but I fell off the subscription list for this topic, and didn't realise you were back from your vacation, and posting again! Welcome back, and I'm glad to see you're giving me things to do (I get bored, and start chewing the furniture).Jim Powers wrote:Thank you, my Friend. Mid Central roads & Rails Scenario
Dear TT-Forums Members & Visitors;
I've just finished another scenario call "Mid Central Road & Rails".
What I've done was to take 'Mid Central Rails', (one of my favorites,) and reworked the
existing cities and remove the old connecting roads, and installed Freeways with cloverleaf
intersections, throughout the whole scenario. I also removed all industries, leaving
only the farms and forests, so one could build whichever industry he desired. I've also
made a Super Pic of "Mid Central Road & Rails", though the freeways are hard to see.
These roadways are designed using the "One Way" system.
I wanted to feature a scenario made special for Busses & Trucks, since we've got huge
advancements in these areas. And "Mid Central Road & Rails" should
be a fantastic Bus & Truck scenario, as well as the usual train layout.
I really hope you'll have great TTD fun playing "Mid Central Road & Rails". I know I will!

Jim!
That was my first, the "original" if you will map I played that you've made. To hear that you've re-released it as a new version is fantastic, and I look forward to playing it.
I'll update the front page post-haste

Mid Central Road & Rails is hot!
Mr. Raichase;
Wow, Big Guy, that was fast! I sure thank you for helping me with the scenario list.
So, "Mid Central Rails" was your 1st scenario? That's good. I probably like it the best. Here's why.
It's almost flat, but, roomy, and the cities are far enough away so that rails are vital to
the overall program. Now, after much thought, I felt that if we added a good, well planned
highway system, that this would really enhance the scenario even more, adding to the already
excellent layout. Thus making it's new revised name "Mid Central Road & Rails"
For some reason, 'Mid Central Rails' hasn't been as popular as some of my other scenarios,
but, in my opinion, (even though, sadly, I made it in the Artic Mode instead of Temperate,)
it is got to be one of the best kept secrets, of all my scenarios.
I know you will enjoy playing it, just as I am.
Always,
Jim Powers
P.S. Hey Captain Kirk I appreciate your kind words, my Friend. You posted while I replying, so, I edited to include you, Sir.

Jim,
As a new user in the forums (although I have lurked around here for almost a year now), I thought I should say that I have always looked at the screenies you put up in awe. Am I right to assume they are only compatible with the Patch. Please correct me if I am wrong here!
This leads me to my next question - I was wondering when you might fancy making an OTTD map? It would certainly be impressive to see what you could do with a 2048x2048 map...

Mr. AlexW;
First, Welcome to TT-Forums, the place is full of nice people who seem to like helping others.
I hope I've at least added to this atmosphere a little bit. I appreciate very much your kind
words. Now, to answer your question. All my scenarios are for TTDPatch. I learned a long
time ago that when you find a 'nitch' in life, stay with it. While I know something about
OTTD (and am happy to see others enjoy it,) I just don't feel like I need to be there.
This doesn't mean that I don't necessarily dislike OTTD, it means that I'm plenty comfortable
right where I'm at. And there are many who like my scenarios (over 27,000 downloads,)
so, why change? I hope I've sufficiently answered your question, Sir. Thanks for asking.
Always,
Jim Powers
P.S. Mr. Raichase, "Mid Central Road & Rails" IS really a lot of fun!
