New Stations, AI

Post by harrydouthwaite »

With the New Stations 0.44, don't you get annoyed if you place a very beautiful station in TTD, then go into the scenario editor and edit the map, and then when you load the game again when it's been edited, the station turns into something ridiculous? I know I do, it's driving me bonkers!
Is there any way to remove this 'bug' from the set manually?

You wait until it all turns to buffer stops and the train then gets split in half and the game crashes!

Sure.

1) issue a "proper bug report" [tm].

Well, looks OK for me. Apparently, newstation tiles aren´t saved correctly when using the scenario editor on savegames.

I have reported that as a bug just to be sure.

BTW, what does "AI" mean in this context?

Of course, only the topic creator can answer this with certainty, but...

I suppose with AI he meant the program that creates the edited map.

AI Player's stations also appear like that in the game, something random... I looked in the station directory on-site and it's apparently called "Random", if this could be removed from the set, then this would probably remove the annoying random station buildings set.

O/c all stations are affected by that "bug".

Pardon?

I *think* he's referring to how the AI builds stations, using a building and 1-2 blank tiles, or the small station hall they build. However, this would likely have no effect on the bug occouring whatsoever, so it's a moot point.
