I gave it a go as well:

Image

It's 1024x1024, includes:
- towns with real names close to there real location
- industries losely based on reality
- added a bit of England
- the real IJselmeer (which it failed to generate in the first place)
- a few landscape fixes

I couldn't get to the correct download link for version 2 of the World Scenario. Can anyone help?

Has anyone done a new westcountry senario?

I'd love to recreate the old S&D route, but its more or less impossible on the original TT version.

Is there space for uploading scenario's to the openttd website (or perhaps part of these forums)? If that doesn't already exist, could this be done?

As a Singaporean myself, I'm elated to see Singapore being so big...

But if you want to be more realistic, I'd suggest dropping the country from the map. Singapore is on a very small island and simply can't be seen. Definitely not sharing the malayan peninsula with Malaysia.

Nice job anyway...
Come on people! Concentrate on merging ttdpatch into openttd!

You said it was the real IJsselmeer, but it isn't real this way... I have no need for it though :)

Thanx for the scenarios, everyone.

I have downloaded a lot of them, but I want to play the US scenario, the big one. However, I´m not able to put airplanes on the game. I can raise airports (it´s 1959), but I can´t find any "new aircraft" button. I´m playing with late nightly game.

How do I put airplanes? Is it because of the scenario settings, or because of the nightly?

Thanx.
Sorry for my bad english too, i´m spanish...

Would like to play multiplayer with people who like small stations, short trains, and to make beautiful cities and lines rather than to become millionaires as soon as possible.

Would it be possible for you to post the bitmap you used to make that scenario?

Cheers.

Is there a german map somewhere? Would be so cool to play that one with DBTrainSet... ICE running from Cologne to Frankfurt in 76 minutes, and you could even add the transrapid from munich airport to munich hbf ;-)
If someone feels like doing it... Make it as big as possible ;-)
Thanks

From the Netherlands only would also be neat. I know there are a lot of maps, but they are just not good enough. One with only the map (no cities/trees/industries) on a 2048 X 2048 (if possible every variant).

Let me know, by sending me a PM or something. Would be great!

I made a 2k x 2k using a height map some time ago.

http://tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=29 ... 2&start=40

I also did a lot of work on my own pc to fix all rivers (higher located rivers are canals since OTTD doesn't support them), but that map is far from finished. Feel free to continue working on it. If you take a look on the TTD Patch forums you will see that they're making great progress with a dutch train set too.

it's look nice, but that's not what I meant. I mean just the Netherlands, no Germany or Belgium. Act like it was an island. That kind a way.

Beside that.. strange cities your using. Oldebroek is much to small for using on this map. ah well.. It's a nice try.

I added everything that was visible from an altitude of 75 km on google earth (+Den Haag which was not visible at that altitude)

cool rendition of the world.

Two notes on the first worldmap (since the second doesent work)

The capitol of norway (Oslo) should be in norway and not north of stockholm.
Sweden should have an ironore mine since Sweden is one of the worlds biggest producers of ironore

I know these points may be verry specificly swedish but uts a start :)
