Try to be on topic in the threads, I (and probably others) don't have the time to find the useful things in the forums, often I read only to the first unuseful post...that is often VERY early...

uh hate to break it but why not make an off topic? then all the spam would be there and not general...

Going offtopic is one of the main things in a forum.. Take it away and you will take the fun away with it...

Just my point of view..

Keep em going Spiff (And ofcourse all the other moderators here);)

Ya-hay! Someone shares my opinion!

Seriously, off-topicism is a load of tripe.

And I start to be concern about one more thing. We are (or, at least, some of you) increasing the bandwidth to oblivion. Please, stop posting, if you have nothing to say. And this goes for everyone (IMHO, I will exclude the moderators and administrators). Or, post as much as you can, after donating $5 or $10 bucks for that case. Owen (and I think Marco, Omni? etc.) have to pay for all this nonsense post! And he is (they are) a student(s) without income, like majority of you! Most of the forums will ban the spamers. None of the people involved here with running this board want to do it. But, maybe, they will be very soon forced to do it! It's costing money! So, my pledge to you, please THINK before you post. If you really can't add anything useful or interesting, DON'T! It's really necessary to post 55 times a day? With maybe 5 posts useful, the rest just no meaning at all? Even posting the smiley taking bandwidths. Start to be responsible for you action. The free time, you will find after disconnecting, you can spend on learning graphics, maybe some more programming, or just simply playing the game, instead of reading and posting about it whole day!?
Just my two cents...

Well I hate to break it to you but... we don't have a bandwith limit... And bandwith comsuption has gone down since last month.... But I do get your point, and I will try to stop posting so much.

Look, I'm not an administrator or moderator to tell you anything...
I just like this forum and I want this one to survive. Go and seek some of the "Sims" forums, for example. All of them asking for sign up with credit card! Do you want to pay or just post if you have something really to post? With major companies exceeding their bandwidth, soon or later this will hit us. And Owen is paying with his own time for all of this! He need time to study, he needs the time for programming, needless to say, what about his own life. And same goes for Omni and Marco. All of them giving us the pleasure to be together and enjoy this fabulous forum. I'm the oldest here, sometimes you kids drive me crazy, but, at least you are NOT brainless, you do have a good points and, to be honest, this forum is a lot better in many cases, then other, all adults, forums.
So, to end this, if you (all, not Sultana personally) have something to say,say it, if not, shut up!

Yes, I prefer if mods and admins start telling people, half of my replies is about that, I could have replied 20 times this morning but each time I withheld myself

So do I, who wouldn't , it can grow into every direction seeing as Peter is still developping, a new team is on the road and the patchman and co are still adding new features, and hajo and others that I forgot
So that's no problem

I don't pay for forums, but for this one I would make an exception. Anyway a lot of popular games forums are and will always be for free

edit: Great work of Owen and Matt, Marco for the old server

I only agree, I tried to make my point to some of you youngsters and frankly it doesn't come across
Thank god guys like you come around from time to time
