I played Transport Tycoon a few years ago, which is a great game!
However, TTD is a new for me. Recently, I got this game and indulged in it! I found this forum and read and learned a lot from here. Thanks!
OTTD is better than TTD for me. I have a question about Nightly.
What's Nightly and where can I download it ?
BTW, I play in Windows (PC).
What's Nightly?

You might try going to openttd.org, clicking on "Downloads", and looking for the word "nightly" or "nightlies".
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

http://www.openttd.org/nightly.php
but which link is right for Windown install?
Also give http://nightly.openttd.org/MiniIN/files/ a shot! The bottom link is the win32 one iirc.
MiniIN has a tonne of new features/patches! But be warned some releases can be buggy.
To install it, just unzip all the files to the corresponding directory in your OTTD root folder. Overwrite any files. Or backup your OTTD root folder first.

LOL... you dont says0cks wrote:MiniIN has a tonne of new features/patches! But be warned some releases can be buggy.

Its not bad though. It adds about 10 major features - new map generator, subsidiaries, snow in temperate, etc... Mostly the bugs are either in trunk, or relatively minor ones in the patches.
Its like OTTD's smarter younger brother; a bit dirty and smelly at times, but tons of energy, and lots of ideas - some more realistic than others.

OTTD NewGRF_ports. Add an airport design via newgrf.Superceded by Yexo's NewGrf Airports 2

Re: What's Nightly?
A nightly is an UNSTABLE (although experiences learn that they're pretty stable) development snapshot compiled every day, it includes new (buggy) features.leozhu wrote:What's Nightly and where can I download it ?
You can get them at http://nightly.openttd.org or http://openttd.org/nightly.php (as said before
