Yes, it's ok now, maybe I should have used "refresh" last time I looked. ;)

I think I've stated this before: my old OpenTTD version will/should be superceded by the main release as soon as the official OpenTTD supports it without glitches.

I wonder if OpenTTD could allow us to have more vehicles than TTDPatch.

No, it isn't.

Not yet.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I found a bug. The nose of the German Wings Racoon Livery is blinking red. I used the wrong color.

Thanks to mart3p for finding and providing fixes for several more of my coding bugs, and for the OpenTTD install instructions.

Changes in 1.5.2:
- Fixed broken livery selection for the Chinook and A380.
- Removed flashing-reds from the Germanwings raccoon livery.
- Added OpenTTD install instructions.

krtaylor: Minimum patch version is still 2.5 beta 5.

mart3p: The 15-bit return for CB19 has been removed, so either keep 1.5/1.5.1 for testing, or recreate that return value.

There are a couple of screenshots showing Planeset 1.5 aircraft in OpenTTD on this page in the OTTD development topic. If these are of any use to you for the website you are welcome to use them.

6 screenshots, with propeller planes, helicopters and 1.5 liveries.

EDIT: Added an extra Eurocopter screenshot, in case the first one's helicopters didn't look clear enough.

Website updated.

The OpenTTD screenshots are very nice as screenshots, but it seems to me that they're a bit busy to really showcase any of the planes individually. I think they look better flying over clear terrain, or at least alone on a runway.

But thanks for the help! We have almost all of them; there's only a couple with no picture, and then a few with obsolete pictures.

I've found another livery bug: The B747 in freight livery (UPS, Fedex and CC) looks identical to the EUD version in the same liveries. The upper deck isn't extended at all, which is especially noticeable when using CTRL+D in OTTD. This isn't the case for any passenger livery.

Anyway, I'll be quadruple posting now, to finish off the remainder of the plane screenshots...

Some find it odd that such a small plane needs four engines. Well, you only lose 1/4 of your power as opposed to 1/2 if one engine fails.

No, that is not a bug; its by design. I don't have a link to the discussion about this, though.
And no, they do not look identical. The 747 EUD has wingtips, while the 747 does not.
White Rabbit, in a caption, wrote:The Fedex 747 is actually an EUD version, but you can't notice it.
Speak for yourself. I correctly identified that plane as an EUD before reading the caption.
