Flamboyant Florida

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TTD Fans & Members;

I've just finished my latest inspired scenario called "Flamboyant Florida"!
"Flamboyant Florida" is filled with fruit (Orange) trees and farms, just as in real life,
plenty of flat land and the major cities in which you may take your produce and
livestock to market, it also has wood for (Pensecola) Paper Mills, some coal mines
for those all important Power Stations to run the electricity, and even some diamond
mines in which you may get lucky and discover valuables. Also don't forget the cruise
and shipping lines which always brings extra dimension to fullfill your TTD enjoyment. :lol:

So, download and enjoy American southern comfort in "Flamboyant Florida"!

This is the correct file for "Flamboyant Florida"! (And also the next entry below.)

Always,
Jim Powers

Dear Mr. Isa;

Sometimes when I install my scenarios into it's permanent file,
I get a different scenario. I don't know why? I'm such a idiot!

Here's the original file, so this one should be "Flamboyant Florida".

Sorry about the inconvience, Sir. :oops:

Mr. Dave Worley;

Your compliments were highly appreciated and I thank you for your offer, Sir. My greatest
enjoyment is to make scenarios which might cause others to really want to play TTD and
not be bored, due to some 'not too good' scenarios. So, since others seem to like, and
want me to post my scenarios to share with other TTD members, well, that's what I've done. :wink:

Now, (without getting too much OT), buying someone a drink is probably one of the most
common ways of letting someone know that he/she likes or approves of what this person has
accomplished. Another way is "I'd like to buy you a steak dinner.," and so on. So, Mr. ISA,
while I clearly understand where you're coming from, I also understand and appreciate what
Mr. Dave Worley is expressing, and I thank both of you for your interest and comments. And
speaking of comments, this appreciation also goes for Mr. PoRrEiRãO and my faithful
friend Mr.Geo.c Ghost. Your kind encouragement continues to keep
me making scenarios. Thanks! :)

Always,
Jim Powers

Would you post my scenario?

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. Raichase;

You're probably busy, but, when you get the chance, Sir, would you add
"Flamboyant Florida" to page #1, scenario list? I hope this
ain't putting you out too much. As always, Thank You very much, Big Guy! :wink:

Always,
Jim Powers

p.s. Latest screenie of "Flamboyant Florida".

Totally Texas

Post by Jim Powers »

Dear TT-Forums Members;

Pull up your jeans, slid into your boots, and don't forget your cowboy hat, 'cause soon
you'll be going to "Totally Texas", (that is if you want to enjoy my next scenario.)

Yep, "Totally Texas" is wide open country with everything from oil wells/rigs to
'Long-horn' steers and some mighty fine folks who'll be needing transportation, to get
their goods to market, and maybe stop by to see some of their friends and kinfolks too, yeh think?

Soon we'll 'Coywboy Up' and be building railroads and highways to do just that! :wink:

Y'all watch for "Totally Texas". To be out soon. :lol:

Always
Jim Powers

p.s. I forgot to send a screenie.

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. Jezulkim;

Thank you, Sir for your interest. The good news is that you and other interested TTD fans
ain't gonna have to wait any longer, because "Totally Texas" has been completed!:wink:
And, I can't wait to start making railroads with looooong trains to carry all that Oil, cattle and
grain to town. There are some Iron and Lumber also which will need carriers to the
Steel Mill and Saw Mill also. And wow! we don't want them there Texans waitin' on their Mail,
or sittin' at a train station somewhere , 'cause I know them critters are all packin' pistols and rifles!
They're an impatient bunch of rascals, Y'all think I'm kiddin'? Think again, so hurry and download
this here dad-burn scenario and go to work and have some fun with "Totally Texas"!
Ya hear? :lol:

@ jim powers

I was wondering if you ever made a map of Portugal?

I once found one that was pretty well done, but then I stopped playing TTD (WHY!!!???) and lost the site. :cry:

I never found a map of my country again, despite looking for it in google...

I don't want you to make a map for me, of course, but if you already have one I was thinking wouldn't mind passing it me

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work :bow:

Portugal

Post by Jim Powers »

Mr. PoRrEiRãO;

Actually, I was working on a scenario of Spain/Portugal recently, but, I wasn't getting any
'feed back' on it, so, I 'put it on the back burner' and started doing USA States. I just
checked out Mr. Rudge's 'Game Repository' as suggested by Mr. Rob, and I see
[3] scenarios. I haven't downloaded them yet, but, should just to make sure I'm not
repeating someone else's scenario. Anyway, a screenie of my scenario called "Spicy Spain",
(Page #53), includes all of Portugal, and I've already installed Lisban. I'll finish it,
if there is interest.

I thank you for your interest, Sir. :wink:

Hi Jim,
You 'Totally Texas' scenario looks great! I do wonder though, if transport companies will suffer in future due to the large amount of oil wells, which will certainly close down. Probably half the challange is to avoid these in the long run though!
I am playing your 'Flamboyant florida' scenario at the moment, with the canadian set and im making mega bucks! A great scenario, but Orlando refuses to grow for some reason, even with an airport, large railway station and bus stop!

Thanks again for your great scenarios, and guess you have even more gems planned :wink:

Mike.
