Please make a button to autorenew Rail vehicles to Maglev! I have 470 trains running and I absolutely don't feel like renewing all these vehicles.

Doesn't work to replace regular trains by maglevs (r3163)

I can remember that option being disabled at a point because it was the cause of some crashes/bugs, correct? anyone?

No, its not been possible yet. Its hard to be able to build Maglev vehicles in railway depots. We would need a multistop type depot where two depots next to eahc other are considered as one, and Trains could be renewed, then they get stuck in the depots until you drag and drop all the track into maglev.

Probably hard to do though.

there used to be a bug when any train could enter any depot. a patch was mate to take advantage of th is bug and allow you to build any tra in in any depot, for autoreplace trains to maglev, the trains once replaced would stop at the depot and wait for you to convert the rest of the network to maglev.


like i said, this was a bug, and the bug was fixed later on, making the patch useless.
