Desert / Electric Problem

I searched if anyone else had this problem, but I didn't find an answer.
Im playing on a desert map and useing now im trying to upgrade to electric lines, but I can only buy desel trains in either the basic or electric train depo. I con only buy electric trains in the monorail depo, and it can only run on the monorail track. I belelieve the graphics are on the wrong system.
I have "electrifiedrailway" on and am running virsion 2.0 rev 1

The sub-tropical climate normally doesn't have any electric trains at all. You can load the tropic set as a new graphics set and it has a few electric trains, or you can upgrade to the latest (alpha) patch and play with the US set, which also has some electric trains.
