Arrr! - This one is often confused with arrrgh, which is of course the sound you make when you sit on a belaying pin. Probably because I'd just seen The Two Towers (IIRC), and was in quite a LOTR-y mood, so decided to change to Gandalf.

Arrr, me hearties! As a loyal fan of the Monkey Island games, and also a salty old sea dog who quite likes Pirates of the Carribean, that site really is a beauty. Arrr!

I must say though, I did find this quotation quite funny:

You liked Monkey Island too? I remember playing the first one in college round-robin - we'd all tag-team on it to try to get through to the end. It was before the Internet which made it easy to play walkthroughs. The ending of the very first one ws just classic.
