Thanks for the support. The Tender was a lengthed version of the one from the BR Trainset, so really its not mine. I was suprised when i saw that it was actually quite a good rendition of an A4 Tender that i had inadvertantly made! Until its released in the BR Trainset or something im afraid it will probably have to remain a private thing. Still, i can give some information.
Start = 1948 (Nationalisation of Railways) These Carriages were made by yours Truely
BR Suburban Passenger -- -- 25 Tonnes, 25 Passengers
BR Suburban Mail -- 25 Tonnes, 25 Post Bags
BR Mainline "Blood and Custards" Corridor -- 40 Tonnes, 50 Passengers
BR Mainline "Blood and Custards" Brake -- 40 Tonnes, 50 Post Bags
Anywhere from 1968 to 1970 you get BR Mk II Blue and Greys. (BR Set)
BR Mk II Blue and Grey Corridor -- 50 tonnes, 60 Passengers
BR Mk II Travelling Post Office (TPO) -- 50 Tonnes, 60 Post Bags
From about 1985
BR Intercity Corridor -- 60 Tonnes, 70 Passengers. (BR Set)
I find that this, along with the Cargo Set (modified to have my Suburban Mail Graphic rather than the TTDX Post Van) shows the progression of the Railways. Also it allows you to haul the huge passenger numbers you get with a town with over 2000 inhabitants without needing a huge train. I Build all my stations to length 7 but i usually only have 8 (Steam) or 9 (Diesel/Electric) Carriages as anything longer traversing the mainline tends to foul up the JX3 and JX3A Type Junctions. Still, with the Cargo set and the new Carriages, trains over 9 waggons aren't really needed. The only 12 waggon trains run the Iron Ore Mine and Steel Mill routes as seen above and to the right of the red circle.
It doesn't need fixing Singaporekid, but thanks for the offer
Maverick: Your probably right, but for the time being this is a much better junction system than the one i was using previously, and the system that most beginners will be using. So it might be some help to them correct?
