Locomotion rails = RCT's mini-railroad.
Compare the rails from the new screenshots to the Miniature Railroad in RCT1.
They look almost exactly the same!
Anyone feeling this?

Imagination! Here, you learn what it is to be human. You are a creator of order, of beautiful shapes and systems, an organizer of chaos.

yes indeed, but it does not bother me ...
the main worst thing are supports ... have you seen whole town with all those rails and roads looks like rollercoaster town ... everywhere support, especially trains one, rock, are very bad ... this is very bad and I hope it will be changed

I agree with Shadow. Secondly, it doesn't appear that we can place tracks on the ground, only raised, which would look really silly...

In the first screenshot in the new set (the one with the british steam engines) there is a grand total of 1 section of track at ground level (One of the curves on the lowest line in the middle of the screen has a straight section behind it which is flat, and then is mostly on the ground itself.
As for supports, have you ever seen a traditional britsh viaduct, especially one in a city. they look just like that.
the Third screen shot though, shows a different kind of bridge (lattice girder) in the far top right.

I am worried that Locomotion would have to much from RollerCoaster Tycoon since first screenshots. I hope it would change until Locomotion release

RCT has got possibility to build whatever you wish under ground so the same will be probably hereTyrell wrote:mmm, that reminds me of something.
I wonder if CS is going to allouw for a anything more than just straid
undergound tracks. Like undergound curved tracks.
Would be a nice option when it comes to trains and town's.
and RadekK I wasn't talking about industries or recreations ... I meant tracks as rollercoasters
