How do you place TWO-WAY signals? (Yes I checked the wiki)

Post by EpicFishFingers »

I used to play TTD for Windows 95 when I was younger.

You used to place train signals like this: click once and get a DOUBLE signal, click again to get a SINGLE signal, click again to get the same single signal in the other direction.

Now when I click, I just alternate between the two single signal types.

How do I place a DOUBLE signal? To be honest I'm not bothered about the various signal types, electric or otherwise, as I'll figure them out as I go if I need them

Cheers

Edit: It just started randomly working just now... Using the signal on the far-left of the selection, electric or semaphore. I swear to god it wasn't working 5 seconds ago. Whatever

Maybe you should reread the wiki page then, path signals (at the right) are very different from block signals (at the left). In particular, original TTD didn't have path signals.
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
