I have a book called `Damptriebwagen´. So I studied its chapter about France, but I cant seem to find it. But with the information I found, I am making a small guess:

Builder: Purry
Gauge: Standard
Purpose: Inspection

rest is wrong, I fear. as stated earlier, it is narrow gauge. I also wondered if this is railcar or, technically speaken a cab-foreward engine
a little more guessing and you may get it

with the two points already taken it should not be too dificult to make some educated guesses, you just need four points to win.
also review the hints I have given so far:
narrow gauge, the company have featured in this tread allready two times.

Is it 1067mm gauge?

Also, was it built by Krauss?

Wild guess;

Manufacturer:Decauville
Gauge: The first Decauville railway used 400 mm (15 3⁄4 in) gauge; Decauville later refined his invention and switched to 500 mm (19 3⁄4 in) and 600 mm (1 ft 11 5⁄8 in) gauge.
Company: Decauville railway (:P)

It is on for more than a month now. I think it is time to put on another riddle.
So here is the answer:

http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix/fr/nar ... et_456.jpg
http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix/fr/nar ... k/pix.html

Country: France - 1pt. Voyager One
Company: CFC - ???
Builder: L.Corpet - ???
Year build: 1886 - ???
Builders number: 456 - ???
Gauge: 1000 mm - ???
Purpose: (track)-inspection vehicle - 1pt. Klaasgras

I flipped a coin, and next one is: Klaasgras

I did everything to find it - no luck. :( I must confess it was a very good riddle!

I think you should post another one, not Klaasgras or me.

I read your pm, Coxx and I agree with Voyager One that you come up with the next one. I think it will be just as interesting as your last one!

Took a little bit to find but it's a really nice loco. It's currently getting prepared for complete restauration for the RENFE museum.

Anyway, I like earning my win not getting it by a flip of a coin.

So... something that might be easy but it's really unusual...
