As far as I can see from your pic, the roof is slightly yellowish, like that light yellow line from very early trains.

EDIT: Besides, there is no "white" color in OTTD, I can't use white, I must use the lightest gray.
jor[D]1 wrote:Other livries:
-Grensland expres
-Regio NS
-Zwolle-Kampen
As I've said:
- Grensland Express - only one trainset
- Zwolle-Kampen - differs only by the white line in the middle - it won't even show in OTTD scale
- Regio NS - differs only by the blue line in the middle - this would show but is it worth adding?

Look, don't get me wront, I can do these in a minute but we need to keep a constant criteria troughout the whole set and not add every_single_livery that has ever existed.

Also, if the majority of people here says "do it", no problem, I'll add them instantaneously.

there is no reason why you couldn't use white (colour 255), just that it is usually an error (wrongly aligned sprite), and thus throws a warning.

OK, TBH, I've never known (and never asked) the real reason of "no-white rule".

Quality nice, I was in Croatia recently - my girlfriend's Bosnian, so pretty much every trip's to around the old Yugoslavian area someplace - and we stayed at Vabriga, near Poreč. Normally they go to Pula but that vacation home was closed. Anyway, it seems the sea and everything does look exactly like your photo, which is pretty awesome. I even took a dive, although the water was cold as hell.

I think it's best to look at Locomotion's modeling community instead of here. In fact, there's a pretty nifty NS set for LoMo that uses hand-made models. The only problem is that Scrat & oppie, the set creators, separated from the forums a long time ago - over something drama-esque no less, like every now and then still happens. Anyway, there's a chance that one of them still has the models and would be willing to "lend" them for a 32bpp NS set. Still, you'd have to find some people doing the actual creation of the set, too.

I think that's more of an optical illusion of the yellow background of the page. If you look at the picture on it's own: http://buffel.diesel-trein.nl/fotos/3430-zl.jpg It looks more white than yellow.

It's white, compare it with the yellow panels of the small buildings/sheds next to it.

Just a notice, firsts pics of a real vechdalijnen GTW have been made:
The picture was taken in germany.

It was connnected to an other new arriva GTW DMU, (seen no loco which is hauling this combination, so I suppose it drives on it own).
Its heading to switzerland for final assembly.

if it was driving on its own, it would probably have lights on, instead of the "old school" end-of-train markers (red/white plate).

I find those end of train markers a bit silly. Obviously it's the end of the train, as nothing is attached :)
Though it's probably to see which way the train is going when it's standing still.

It's a nice picture though, nice train colour. I also love that they renewed the catenary recently, but left the old support poles in place. It's nice to see old and new together like that.

There is a red-white DMU which is pulling this blue one. The blue one is for 1500V DC so not suitable for germany.
From the other side, 3 headlights are on.

Still i think it's odd the train is driving with own power from poland to switzerland.

legally, it is used to detect a "disconnected train". I.e if you find a wagon that doesn't have one of those attached in the end (or "2 red lights on same height"), then you lost a wagon. (nowadays, the brakes have to trigger in this event, both on the leading train segment and the lost wagons). in the past, every line post (that operated a block signal) had to check for these markers before opening the block for the next train.

Looks very nice, but I see one big mistake: The middle coaches which have a pantograph on them do only have them on one side. Those coaches ALWAYS have pantographs on both sides. There's one exception on the entire VIRM park, which is because the original coach got damaged.

Further, I think you should make the lenght of the panto pieces 1 pixel shorter. :)

If that is indeed the case, the problem already existed in the original sprites, which is not STT's fault.

Either way it's easily fixed, but it should be done at the same time for all liveries :) Thanks for spotting it though.

As for the Olympic livery itself, I like it :)

An other mistake:

IRM has panto's on the driving trailers, and not on the coaches.
When the IRM was enlarged to VIRM and new VIRM orders, the panto moved to the middel coaches, and there are no panto's on the driving trailers.

(IRM oplympic didn't exist, IRM only was in NS intercity colors)

Thanks. When I code this new Olympic livery I'll look into the differences and amend the graphics where necessary.
I made an issue for it here: http://dev.openttdcoop.org/issues/4003
If there's more wrong with this train feel free to post it there.
