Hi jdemn8,
Thank you so much for pointing these issues out!

Only AE1s bought at the very end of their availability will last until the AE100 becomes available in 1991.
It seems that sometimes trains with a very short model life don't appear in the set at all. This is a bit problematic IMO, so maybe I should shut-off this option. This however means that at some times, the menu gets a bit overcrowded, but this is probably a good thing for gameplay, since there is mostly only a small choice of vehicles from TIAS available.

Compared to the rest of the trains in the Japan Set, the reliability on the TIAS trains seems to deteriorate really quickly, an eight year old 2 Car 800/1000's reliability seems to deteriorate eight times faster than a 13 year old 80 Series EMU's does.
The reliability of the 80 Series hits 75% (Down from 84%) the same time the 800/1000 hits 0% (from 92%). This doesn't just affect the 800/1000s, but basically every train in the TIAS.
True that, I noticed this while playing yesterday as well. I'll shut this down as well, so reliablity becomes as per default.

Also, I don't know if this was intended, but TIAS trains don't appear in the menu in Snowy maps.
This was intended, since neither of the companies represented in TIAS run in arctic/snowy regions. They all run around on the mild climate of the Kanto coastline.

Hope this helps! (Even though most of these are small)
It sure helps a lot! The upcoming TIAS 1.7-alpha will have some great improvements thanks to your report!
Cheers!
