More blue? No problem. I was afraid it would be too much as I've drawn it for the Dutch set. Almost the whole vehicle was in 1st CC.

EDIT: Better? Other suggestions please?

I like it!

Indeed, I think this version fits the OpenGFX style much better. I like it :-)

Personally I have the feeling that it's targetted at fright, though, as most high-speed passenger trains tend to become MU :-)
I'll happily accept MU (with specific wagons for pax, mail and valuables) as well :-)

Take a look at the Dutch Trainset I'mn currently working on. If you like something, just say it so I can adjust those sprites for OpenGFX+ Trains, no problem.

The above locomotive looks pretty good, though I think it would be better suited to something like what the HHP-8 does, a single locomotive hauling passenger cars at high speed. It also looks like the type of high power electric locomotive that can pull freight at speed (120 - 160 Kmh)

For a standard train in OpenGFX+ I think it needs to be generic and usable for anything which it looks, fitting well with the original style :)

Personally I don't like the name HS001, sounds too orientated by the circumstances it was drawn in and not a realistic/TTD sounding name. Might I suggest 'Voyager' it sounds like the sorts of names given to the TTD maglevs and keeps the tradition of naming after game developers :) (well graphics artists here)

Could name it the "Voyager One" or "Voyager-1" and maybe any other versions after it with other numbers :p

That's just my "project" name, feel free to rename it as you wish.

This is also at devs discretion - I've drawn it, you can use it in any manner you wish. I'll be happy enough to see it in the set, whatever its purpose might be.

And this has nothing to do with me, has it? No seriously, rename it whatever you like.
Ah, wait - I've already called the new (still not implemented) futuristic IC and IC-DD coaches for the 2ccTS with "Voyager" and "Grand Voyager".

Hello,

here are some sprites for "tiny" waggons.

They could be introduced earlier than the big ones.

If there is some interest i would draw the other views...

I'm definitely interested in expanding this set also to earlier years. Making special wagons for that purpose with adjusted capacities is something I'd forsee for that. Your teasers look very nice to me :-)

Hey, I like this idea of smaller wagons. It can be used for earlier trains, as well as lower loading guages or narrow gauge railways (with the proper grf's installed).

- Manley Morell is default refitted in OGFX+ Trains 0.3.0 to goods while in vanilla TTD/OTTD it is refitted to passengers. I would suggest to make the default refit to passengers.
- Whe refitted to passengers, Manley Morell engines both have 76 capacity. I would guess that both are supposed to have 38 capacity (=76 in total, not each).
- Why does Bananas want to download 0.2.5 as an update to 0.3.0? I'd like to keep my NewGRF list tidy so this is a little bit annoying (as are old AV8s which have the same problem).

So far for the whining :D This is the first time I've played with it and I like what I see :)

BaNaNaS doesn't know which Version is "newer", it can only detect that you don't have the "current" Version, and will thus try to "update".

Hi,
To let you know that I'm working on the (much needed) French translation (based on EN r292).
ETA: a couple of days hours.

EDIT 1: done. Attached.

EDIT 2: HOLD ON! SLIGHT OMISSION!

 I forgot the line ##plural 2
Corrected in v0.1.1, attachment replaced.
Sorry for the trouble…

Thanks for the update. I commited it as r298 and should be available in a few hours as nightly download. Maybe you can check whether all is alright :-)

Cheers,
pm

Thank you, I will :-)

EDIT (Monday 9th): Alright, I tested it, I'm pleased with it except for a small mistake that also appears in the english.lng ref file (and that I reproduced in the French version):
Code:
(line 12) — STR_PARAM_ENGINES :Engine climate selection:

There shouldn't be any colon at the end of the string as this sign is already provided by the "core" of oGFX+ Trains.

Corrected in v0.1.2 attached herunder.

All of my 32bpp models have now been added to the project and should be in the next nightly build (or will be in any manual build), so keep an eye out for any issues that you may come across ;)

Added many new models to the project and hope to get some screenshots up at some point to show you just what is going on. Really busy in any spare time at the moment improving and adding to the work that I have added to OpenGFX+. anyone willing to offer help with nml and blender 3D graphics are really welcome.
