Europe heightmaps

Hello,
I have created a set of Europe height maps based on U.S. Geological Survey data (used preprocessed maps from EEA): http://goo.gl/djq2H . Feel free to play or use in your own heightmaps and scenarios. Which of those maps would be good to upload to OpenTTD Content Service?

I plan to create scenarios based on some of them as well but it will take more time.

I hope, the licenses are ok (GPL, GFDL, CC-BY-SA). EEA says that the map can be re-used free of charge for both commercial and noncommercial purposes. Therefore I think they can be used in free works too.

I just took a look at it and made some tests with the scenario generator.

Great work!

I am sure I will use it one day to do a scenario. I like the different height versions of the maps.


Upload some of your maps to http://bananas.openttd.org/en/heightmap/
Once uploaded there, people can download your maps in the game.
