[OTTD]Lachie's Australian Screenshots

Post by BobDendry »

As I'm finally putting the finishing touches on the NSW Set, I've started a game that I intend actually playthrough rather than just play testing.

So here we have the NSW Government Railways, established in 1900 (in this game, anyway). Headquartered in Milsons Head, their first line was designed to transport Iron Ore and related minerals to the Milsons Head steel mill. As part of the deal with the Milsons Head Council, a passenger rail line has also been established to outlying areas, with plans to eventually expand further.

Soon after the construction of its station, the Wyalong Council voted to allow the development of a hotel on the opposite side of the train station. NSWGR was angered by this decision, as it limited future expansion, and the influx of tourists to the hotel already has the existing timetable struggling. The purchase of new trains specifically to the service the now popular holiday spot seems imminent.
