Uk Game (Jonnie47)

Post by jonnie47 »

We start this game in the year 2000. Having already completed the rail network to a reasonable standard, Train services are started between the capital city of Loughbrough and the surrounding areas.

Seen here is the Loughbrough Valley D.C (T.M.D)

You can see the new Class 377/2s waiting to be commisioned in siding 1 & 3 with a soon to be withdrawn class 421 unit.
Below on the lower levels, there will be an influx of class 313/1s for local services along the D.C network.

Hold ctrl whenb building a station allows you to merge it with another existing station.
Should be usable for you at T.M.D. You currently have 2 station there.

You could hide the depot with overlapping modular sheds.

You mean Newgrfs - a lot of them can be downloaded from in-game online content (I.E. Bananas)
Mods are basically patches here

With the southern part of the country benifiting from rail investment the city of Rugby is having its terminus built with 6 platforms. Platform 1 + 2 & 5 + 6 are through platforms, while 3 & 4 are for local and terminating services. It will soon by the site of the main southern region T.M.D just to the south & a major interchange with bus stands.

Here it is now during construction. Note the 750v Dc Network for this area.

Here you see Shipley, With its grand modern station concourse and buildings. This station is to be a major bus/rail interchange but this has not happened yet. Notice the semi-phore signals on this route. Altought classed as a main line, the budget for this route has been slashed due to the High speed line being built to the west.

Here we see our main network hub at faversham, it has 3 main stations. Notice the Thanmeslink style tunneling and station access, i have tried too use real life to influence some of my network.

Thanks. Fareham will be a major Terminus station in the next few years with services starting to serve the big city, an opportunist entrepreneur has decided to open a taxi company, ferrying passenger from the station to the suburbs. Buses will soon provide plenty of competition for Hackney taxis ltd.

@std thanks very much.

Whitton is the next stop for this game. We can see the main station, which has shortened platforms because the extensive steam depot to the east was built first. To allow junction space the platform length was shortened accordingly.
A 4-6-2 Corination Class loco heads east with the a service to Fareham.

I do. They were a fab idea! We need more sheds. I always thought Amecheer's and Jezulkim's sheds would be a good addition to the modular sheds family.
